OPP search for man wanted for shooting at drivers on HWY 401

Ontario Provincial Police are looking for a man who shot at several vehicles on Highway 401 in Mississauga Tuesday morning.
Dashcam video circulating online shows a man on the highway approaching drivers and pointing a handgun.
Officers say they received several reports of shots fired at passing vehicles near Dixie Road around 5 a.m.
Investigators then say the man allegedly stole a vehicle and drove off. The vehicle was later found abandoned on Fasken Drive in Etobicoke.
The department says that no serious injuries were reported from the incident.
Police are looking for a black man in his late 20s or early 30s, with long braided hair, last seen wearing a blue or grey t-shirt, jeans and black-and-white running shoes.
The shooting incident led to a lengthy closure of the Eastbound Highway 401 collector lanes at Dixie road as well as some Highway 410 and 401 ramps.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
