Police search for driver after hit-and-run caught on camera

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has released a dash cam video of a hit-and-run in Mississauga in hopes of identifying the driver.

The collision happened on Highway 410 on May 3.

OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt posted the video on Twitter asking, “Who would do this?”

The video appears to show a vehicle tailgating another car in the HOV lane before trying to quickly pass on the right. The passing car then cuts off the other vehicle and hits the brakes, causing the rear car to swerve and spin out of control.

We spoke to the driver of the car that was hit, Chris Maxwell and asked him what he would like to say to the driver that hit him.
