OPP release name of person killed in crash

The O.P.P. have released the name of a St.Catherines woman killed in a fatal car crash in Port Colborne on Monday.

Police say 85 year old Joyce Hawksbee was killed, when her Chevrolet Cavalier veered into the northbound lane on Highway 140 and hit a tractor-trailer.

They’re investigating what caused Hawksbee’s car to stray out of the southbound lane.

Officials say an autopsy has been scheduled.

They’re asking anyone with information on the accident to call them.
