One man arrested after OPP officer struck by a vehicle during traffic stop

Update: Peel Regional police have confirmed one male has been arrested after OPP officer Cst. Patrick Chatelain was struck by a vehicle during a traffic stop in Mississauga.
It happened around 9:00 a.m. Monday morning near Highway 403 and Hurontario Street. The driver that struck Chatelain, drove-off and dragged him for a short distance.
Police located the suspect vehicle around 1 pm in the area of Trailwood Dr & Hurontario St. unoccupied.
No charges have been laid as the investigation is still ongoing.
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said Cst. Chatelain left the hospital and is now recovering at home.
