OPP make arrest in armed vehicle robberies, shooting

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting and theft of vehicles in Ingersoll and Norfolk County, OPP say.
Police were called to Ingersoll on Sunday afternoon, after a man was shot and his vehicle stolen on Thames St. S.
The man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Another vehicle theft was reported in Norfolk County later that day.

On Monday, police arrested Forest Reginald Whitlow, 27, of Six Nations of The Grand River Territory.
He’s been charged with attempted murder, two counts of robbery with a firearm, dangerous driving, two counts of possession of stolen property over $5,000 and arson.
