OPP looking for witnesses after gunshots heard in remote area

Investigators are hoping to speak with witnesses after gunshots were heard in Haldimand County earlier this week.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to Booker Rd. in Lowbanks, Ont. around 12:51 p.m. on Tuesday after several shell casings were found in the area.

Witnesses told police they heard two motorcycles driving down the road on Monday and then gunshots.

OPP is asking anyone with information or who may have noticed any suspicious persons or vehicles in the area to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
