OPP investigating after suspicious fire at home in Norfolk County

Ontario provincial police are investigating a suspicious overnight fire at a Norfolk County home.

Police say the blaze started around 12:45 a.m. on June 26 at a Hastings Drive address in Long Point.

There was someone in the home during the fire, but they were able to escape the home and put the fire out with buckets of water.

Damage to the home is estimated at about $35,000.

No further information has been released and police are asking anyone with more information to contact them.
