OPP investigates collision between motorcycle and bicycle

Police are investigating after a cyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a motorcycle.

It happened on Bluewater Veteran’s Highway just north of Grand Bend around 10:45 p.m. on July 30.

First responders arrived on scene and located a cyclist who had been struck by a motorcycle that was travelling northbound on the highway.

The 41-year-old cyclist was airlifted to hospital with life threatening injuries.

Police say the driver of the motorcycle was not injured.

The investigation is ongoing and police are hoping to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the crash.
