OPP investigates after 3 armed men break into home, assault resident

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a violent home invasion in Norfolk County.
Police were called to a home on King St. in Delhi around 10:35 p.m. on Monday.
Investigators say three men armed with handguns entered the home and assaulted one person inside. The victim managed to escape and flee to a neighbouring home where they contacted police.
The trio left the residence and fled in a silver or grey coloured van.
Police are asking anyone in the area who may have surveillance cameras that captured the suspects to check their footage and contact investigators at 1-888-310-1122.
OPP says there is no threat to public safety, however, police are reminding residents to be aware of their personal safety at all times and to be extra vigilant if a stranger arrives at their home.
