OPP investigate fatal crash on Highway 3 in Norfolk County

Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a crash on Highway 3 in Norfolk County that left one man dead.
Emergency crews were called to a collision between a car and propane truck just before 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The vehicle was travelling westbound on the highway when it crossed the center line and crashed into the eastbound truck, police said.
Both vehicles ended up in the ditch.
“We did have a little bit of snowfall last night and I can tell you that some of the roadways are slick and snow covered,” said OPP Const. Ed Sanchuk.
“Please do us all a favour: reduce your speed. You’re eventually going to arrive at your destination but more importantly, get home safe to your family tonight.”
Police have not said if speed or road conditions were factors in the crash.
The driver of the vehicle suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His identity is being withheld until his next of kin is notified.
