OPP identify Brantford woman that died as a result of intense storm

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have identified a Brantford woman that died as a result of an intense storm in the area on Saturday.

Police say significant weather in the area resulted in two people being transported to an area hospital by paramedics with minor injuries. A third person was transported with serious life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead.

Police say 27-year-old Shelby Humble-Neale has been identified as the deceased.

OPP are advising members of the public to avoid close proximity to any trees that may have been damaged by the storm, even if there is no visible sign of damage.
