OPP close 2 sections of Highway 403 in Brantford after 2 crashes

Ontario Provincial Police are at the scene of two separate crashes in Brantford Friday morning.
Officers first responded to a collision shortly before 4 a.m. on Highway 403 between Jerseyville Rd. and Sunnyridge Rd. in Brantford.
Police said a driver has life-altering injuries following the single-vehicle crash.
COLLISION: #Hwy403 #Brantford: all eastbound lanes are closed between Exit 41 Garden Avenue / Brant County Rd 18 and Exit 55 Trinity Rd / County Rd 52 following a collision. #OPP on scene. All eastbound lanes are closed between Highway 52 and Garden Ave., causing heavy traffic on alternate routes.
OPP do not know when the area will reopen.
Officers are also at the scene of a motorcycle collision on Highway 403 eastbound at Wayne Gretzky Parkway in Brantford Friday morning.
The motorcyclist has serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Police said the area is closed as they investigate.
