Ontario’s Covid-19 count remains above 2400

More than 50-thousand Covid-19 tests have been completed since Ontario released its figures on Saturday. 2448 new cases in the province have been discovered with Toronto recording 780. Other areas with high positivity rates are Peel Region with 356, 278 in York Region and 219 in Durham. 917 people with Covid-19 are now in Ontario hospitals although ten percent of the hospitals have not yet reported their weekend numbers. Nearly 65-thousand vaccinations have been administered since Friday’s update bringing the total in Ontario to just over one-million, 980-thousand.
