Ontario speeds up OSAP process
Ontario says it’s cutting the red tape and streamlining the application process for full-time students at college and university.
The government introduced OSAP Express on Monday at McMaster University.
It says the move will speed up the enrollment verification process and will save hours currently spent in lineups. Glen Murray, Ontario’s Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities says it will help more than 300,000 students, including 15,000 right here in Hamilton.
The program will also result in government savings of more than $150,000.
