Ontario reports 744 COVID-19 cases and 24 deaths

Ontario reported 744 cases of COVID-19 and 24 deaths today.
This is down from 914 reported yesterday and 870 on Thursday.
The reported positivity rate is 3.1 per cent, with the province completing 27,819 tests in the last day.
Ontario is reporting 744 cases of #COVID19 and over 27,800 tests completed. Locally, there are 181 new cases in Toronto, 123 in Peel, 61 in Hamilton, 51 in the Region of Waterloo, 48 in York Region and 48 in the Porcupine Health Unit region.

There are 625 people in hospital with COVID-19 across the province, which is down from the 687 reported on Friday.
There are 516 people in intensive care units, with 362 of them on ventilators.
According to the province, 172,855 vaccine doses were administered on Friday. Of those, 105,663 were first doses.
There are 963,257 people in the province who have received both vaccines.
Another 1,242 cases have been marked as resolved.
