Ontario reports 722 COVID-19 cases, 2 new deaths

Ontario is reporting 722 cases of COVID-19 and two new deaths Sunday.
The reported positivity rate is 3.2 per cent, with the province completing more than 23,000 tests in the last day.
Of the new cases, 444 are unvaccinated, 76 are partially vaccinated, and 158 are fully vaccinated. There are 44 cases with unknown vaccination statuses.
Another 391 cases have been marked as resolved.
Currently, 141 people are in intensive care units, with 79 of them on ventilators.
In Ontario, 20,466,975 vaccine doses have been administered. Nearly 82.2% of Ontarians 12+ have one dose & 74.8% have two doses.
178 people are hospitalized (excl. ICU) with #COVID19, & 141 people are in ICU due to COVID-19. Please note that not all hospitals report on weekends.

According to the province, 33,535 vaccine doses were administered on Saturday.
In Ontario, 74.82 percent of the eligible population is fully vaccinated.
