Ontario reports 654 new COVID-19 cases Saturday

Ontario is reporting 654 new COVID-19 cases Saturday and two more deaths related to the virus.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says 464 of the cases are in individuals who are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status and 190 are in fully vaccinated individuals.
The data is based on more than 31,123 tests completed on the previous day.
There are currently 153 patients in intensive care with COVID-related critical illnesses, including 139 patients who are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status.
Elliott says 87 per cent of Ontarians aged 12 and older have received one dose and 82 per cent have two doses.
