Ontario is reporting 640 new COVID-19 cases Saturday and 10 more deaths related to the virus.

The province says six of the deaths occurred in the past 24 hours, while four took place over a month ago. According to the Ministry of Health, the fatalities are being added to the overall tally after a data cleanup.

The data is based on more than 33,303 tests completed on the previous day.

Health Minister Christine Elliott says 485 of the most recent infections are among those who are either not fully vaccinated or whose immunization status is unknown.

The latest figures come as loosened capacity limits take effect at certain venues where proof of vaccination is required, including arenas, concert halls, stadiums and theatres.
