Ontario recently announced children born in 2009 are now eligible to receive the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.
The eligibility was widened to include 11-year-olds who will turn 12 this year after the province looked at data from Alberta and British Columbia that didn’t identify risks after administering the shot to that age group for months.
The province’s COVID-19 data reporting website has not been updated since Tuesday due to “technical difficulties.”
However, the below information regarding local cases is available on municipal websites.
