Ontario reports 4,156 COVID-19 cases and 28 deaths

Ontario reported 4,156 cases of COVID-19 and 28 deaths on Wednesday, as hospitalizations and patients in ICU continue to climb.
The daily case count comes as the province completed 54,211 tests. The reported positivity rate, which takes into account the date tests were performed is 8.6 per cent.
There are 1,877 people in hospital across the province, up from 1,822 reported on Tuesday.
There are 642 patients in intensive care with 442 of them on ventilators.
Ontario is reporting 4,156 cases of #COVID19 and over 54,200 tests completed. Locally, there are 1,254 new cases in Toronto, 593 in Peel, 476 in York Region, 340 in Ottawa and 248 in Durham.

The province administered a record 112,817 vaccine doses on Tuesday, for a total of 3,422,974 doses.
