Ontario is reporting 409 new cases of COVID-19 and one new death.

About half of the new cases were reported in Toronto, according to Minister of Health Christine Elliott.

The province is also reporting 29 new COVID-19 cases related to schools, including at least 10 among students.

Those bring the number of schools with a reported case to 198 out of Ontario’s 4,828 publicly-funded schools.

According to the province, that number includes some that were not reported in Thursday’s update because of technical issues with the system.

More than 65,000 tests are still under investigation.
