Ontario reports 296 COVID-19 cases and six deaths

Ontario is reporting 296 cases of COVID-19 and six deaths on Thursday with over 29,500 tests completed.
The province will now be moving into the second phase of the reopening plan on June 30, up from the scheduled July 2 date.
Locally, there are 95 new cases in Waterloo, 35 in Toronto, 20 in Peel Region, 19 in Hamilton and 17 in Ottawa.
Ontario says more than 225,000 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine have been administered since yesterday’s report, for a total of more than 13.3 million.
