Ontario reports 287 COVID-19 cases, 12 deaths

Ontario is reporting 287 cases of COVID-19 and 12 deaths on Sunday.
The reported positivity rate is roughly 1.5 per cent, with the province completing 18,524 tests in the last day.
Ontario is reporting 287 cases of #COVID19 and over 18,500 tests completed. Locally, there are 66 new cases in the Region of Waterloo, 42 in Toronto, 38 in Grey Bruce, 26 in Peel Region and 16 in the Porcupine Health Unit region.

Another 379 cases have been marked as resolved. There are currently 2,625 known active cases. This is the lowest the active case number has been since Sept. 17.
There are 289 people are in intensive care units, with 191 of them on ventilators.
According to the province, 202,672 vaccine doses were administered on Saturday. Of those, 175,516 people became fully vaccinated.
There are now 4,163,621 people in the province who have received both vaccines.
Starting tomorrow at 8:00 a.m., Ontarian residents who are 18 and older will be able to book their second dose.
