Ontario reports 194 new COVID-19 cases, no deaths

Ontario is reporting 194 new cases of COVID-19 and, for the first time this year, no additional deaths.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says Tuesday’s numbers include 42 new cases in the Region of Waterloo, 35 in Toronto, 26 in Peel Region, and 11 in Grey Bruce.
More than 200,000 vaccine doses were administered Tuesday, however, due to a technical issue, the vaccine numbers were pulled at 5 p.m. instead of 8 p.m. Officials say the remaining doses will be included in Thursday’s vaccine totals.
As of 5:00 p.m. yesterday, 16,126,179 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered, including 204,594 doses administered yesterday.
