Ontario reports 1,508 COVID-19 cases, 14 deaths as over 1.3M vaccine doses given

Ontario reported 1,508 cases of COVID-19 and 14 deaths on Wednesday.
The daily case numbers come as the province completed 49,128 tests. The reported positivity rate, which takes into account the date tests were done, is 3.5 per cent.
Another 58,202 vaccine doses were administered on Tuesday. In total, 1,301,334 doses have been administered as of 8 p.m.
There are 290,659 people in Ontario who are fully vaccinated.
Ontario is reporting 1,508 cases of #COVID19 and over 49,100 tests completed. Locally, there are 542 new cases in Toronto, 253 in Peel and 107 in York Region.
As of 8:00 p.m. yesterday, 1,301,334 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered.

Another 1,488 cases have been marked as resolved.

The death toll is now 7,187 people.
The number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is down from 761 to 741. There are 300 patients in ICU with 190 of them on ventilators.
