Ontario reports 148 new cases of COVID-19, no new deaths

Ontario is reporting 148 new cases of COVID-19 and no new deaths.
This is the highest number of cases recorded since July 24 when the province recorded 195 new cases.
Today, Ontario is reporting 148 cases of #COVID19, a 0.4% increase as the province processed more than 32,100 tests. Locally, 27 of Ontario’s 34 public health units are reporting five or fewer cases, with 18 reporting no new cases.

Numbers released on Saturday show 103 cases of the virus have been resolved.
The province says 51 people are in the hospital with the virus and 17 are in the intensive care unit.
Five people are on ventilators.
A total of 38,126 cases have been resolved and 2,809 have died.
There are 1,148 active cases of COVID-19 in the province.
