Ontario reports 122 new cases of COVID-19, 6 new deaths

Ontario is reporting 122 new cases of COVID-19 and 6 new deaths.

Almost half of the new cases are in people between 20 and 39 years old.

Numbers released Friday show an additional 83 cases of the virus are resolved.

The province says 61 people are currently in hospital with the virus and 18 are in intensive care.

Twelve people are on ventilators.

There have been 41,935 cases of COVID-19 in Ontario.

Of those, 38,023 have been marked as resolved and 2,809 have died.

There are 1,103 active cases of COVID-19.

Haldimand-Norfolk: 0 new cases, 21 active cases

Brant: 0 new cases, 6 active cases

Hamilton: 2 new cases, 67 active cases

Niagara: 2 new cases, 19 active cases

Halton: 3 new cases, 29 active cases
