Ontario reports 111 new cases of COVID-19

Ontario is reporting 111 new cases of COVID-19, a day after plans for Stage 3 reopening were announced.
The majority of those cases were reported in Peel, York, Toronto and Windsor-Essex.
Almost half of the new cases are people between the ages of 20 and 39.
Numbers released Tuesday bring the total number of COVID-19 cases to 36,839.
Of those, about 89 per cent have been resolved.
One additional death was reported Tuesday.
On Monday, the province announced plans to start Stage 3 reopening.
Much of the province, with the exception of Hamilton, Halton, Toronto, Peel, York, Niagara and Haldimand-Norfolk, will be able to move into Stage 3 as of 12:01 a.m. Friday.
