Ontario is reporting 857 new COVID-19 cases

Ontario is reporting 857 new COVID-19 cases Saturday, 646 of the cases are in individuals who are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status, and 211 are fully vaccinated individuals.
The province says 21,138,345 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine have been administered. Health Minister Christine Elliott says 84.3 per cent of Ontarians aged 12 and older have received one dose and nearly 77.9 per cent have two doses.

There are currently 180 patients in intensive care with COVID-related critical illnesses and 114 on ventilators. Overall, there are 363 people in the hospital with COVID-19. 321 are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status and 42 are full vaccinated.
