Both Brantford and Brant will receive more than $4.5 million dollars in 2021 to address local community infrastructure needs across both municipalities.

“As your MPP, I am upholding my commitment to support our local municipalities by creating jobs, attracting economic growth and investment, and making our community the best place to live and grow”, said MPP Will Bouma. “This funding will help build and repair roads, bridges, water and wastewater infrastructure in our community.”

Mayor Kevin Davis says the the financial support will be allocated to several key projects including full corridor reconstruction of St.Paul Avenue, Garden Avenue bridge rehabilitation as well as improvements to roadway systems in the city’s North West Industrial Area.

Through the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund, each municipality will be receiving:

  • City of Brantford: $3,456,359
  • County of Brant: $1,097,617

This funding is a part of Ontario’s approximately $200 million commitment to 424 communities to help them address their core infrastructure projects and planning needs in 2021.
