Ontario government extends deadline to renew health card to Sept. 30
The Ontario government is extending the requirement to renew health cards until Sept. 30, 2022.
The previous deadline for residents in the province to renew their health cards was Feb. 28.
Health Minister Christine Elliott said the government extended the renewal deadline for Ontario health cards in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ontarians will continue to be able to use their expired health cards, including red and white health cards, to access insured health care services.
