Ontario extends state of emergency until July 15

Ontario has extended its state of emergency to July 15.
Premier Doug Ford says he hopes this is last extension, given the positive trends seen across the province’s public health units.
But many of the emergency orders are expected to continue past July 15, including bans on large gatherings.
This comes as the province reports 163 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday and 12 more deaths.
That brings the province to a total of 34,016 cases, including 2,631 deaths.
The number of resolved cases is at 29,336.
That’s 229 more than the previous day.
The number of people in hospital with COVID-19 and those in intensive care and on ventilators all dropped.
