Ontario considering HOV lane fees

The provincial government was thinking out loud again today about ways to raise money for new roads.

We’ve already got the High Occupancy Vehicle lanes on the QEW and other freeways for drivers with company in their cars. Now the government is talking about lanes that would let other drivers who are alone in their cars use the HOV lanes, but at a price. Al Sweeney explains.
