Only minor injuries after 2 trucks collide on Highway 401 in Milton

The driver of a delivery truck walked away with only minor injuries after colliding with the rear end of a transport truck on Highway 401 in Milton.

Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the crash that happened Tuesday morning in the westbound lanes of Highway 401 at the exit for Highway 25.

Police say the driver of the delivery truck was able to get out on his own and was taken to hospital only as a precaution.

Investigators believe the trucks may have made contact when attempting to change lanes.

Westbound Highway 401 at Trafalgar Rd. faced heavy delays while crews worked to remove extensive amounts of debris from the roadway.
