Online police reporting

Hamilton Police has made reporting crimes more convenient.

Rather than having to go to Hamilton Police station or calling, people can now use the new online police reporting system to report lost property, theft, vandalism, etc.

The only criteria for the online reporting is that the offence must have occurred within the City of Hamilton, no known suspects and it’s not a crime in progress.

If it’s a crime in progress, police are asking that people still call 9-1-1.

All online reports are reviewed by an officer are not assigned for follow-up investigation but it will however help the police gain a better overview of criminal activity in your neighbourhood.
