One woman killed after collision in Middlesex County

A 24-year-old woman is dead and two men are in custody following an early Saturday morning crash in Middlesex County.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported that the crash happened around 5:30 a.m. on Jubilee Road, near Dodem Way in Munsee-Delaware First Nation.

Authorities say a woman was found unresponsive at the scene before being transported to hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The OPP added that the two men in the truck ran from police.

One of the men was found at a nearby home, while the other stole a vehicle and crashed on Highway 24 in Brant County before fleeing on foot.

He was arrested with the help of a canine unit and a police helicopter.

Both men remain in custody, and more details are expected to be released later today.
