One woman has been transported to hospital with serious injuries after a collision in Oakville.

Halton police responded to a collision that involved a pickup truck and an SUV at the intersection of Neyagawa Boulevard and Burnhamthorpe Road at approximately 10:25 a.m.

Authorities closed the intersection while the collision reconstruction unit was on scene and investigating, but it has since been reopened in all directions.
