Delivery truck driver dead after head-on crash with tractor trailer in Dundas

A 55-year-old Brantford man was killed after his delivery truck collided head-on with a tractor trailer Monday morning.

The accident occurred on Highway 5 between Millgrove Road and Rock Chapel Road at around 9:30 a.m.

The tractor trailer was traveling westbound on Highway 5 when the delivery truck came into its path.

The two vehicles collided, ejecting the driver of the delivery truck, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers say the driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.

Police have closed off the area and expect roads to reopen around 7 p.m.
