One man sent to hospital, another arrested following stabbing in Hamilton on Saturday

One man was sent to hospital and another was arrested following a stabbing in Hamilton’s East end on Saturday.

Police say it happened at 2:00 a.m. on Canon Street and Lottridge Street.

An 18-year-old was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after being stabbed in the abdomen. Police arrested one person shortly after the incident.

The investigation is still ongoing.
