One man in hospital after crash in Burlington

A Burlington man is recovering in hospital after an early morning car crash.

Halton Police say it happened just before 5 this morning. The man was travelling on Lakeshore Road, east of Walkers Line, when he lost control, crashed into a tree and landed on the front lawn of a home.

The car was demolished.

The driver managed to escape with minor injuries.

Officers continue to investigate the crash, but believe high speed may have been a factor. So far no charges have been laid.
