One in hospital after Merrittville crash

A two car crash sent one man to hospital with serious injuries. It happened Friday afternoon on Merrittville Highway in Thorold.

The 60-year old suffered chest and leg injuries in the collision and was airlifted to Hamilton General Hospital. Five others, including a 27-year old pregnant woman who went into
labour, were also rushed to hospital. Merrittville Highway near Port Robinson road was closed for hours while police investigated.
