One dead following collision in Milton

Halton police are investigating a fatal vehicle collision in front of 13221 Guelph Line, Milton.

On Sunday, Aug. 21, at around 11:10 a.m., police say a white SUV has been traveling southbound on Guelph Line when it left the roadway and collided with a raised driveway culvert.

The man driving the SUV was assessed by EMS, but succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Halton Regional Police Collision Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene and took carriage of the investigation. The scene was held for around six hours for the at-scene collision investigation and debris clean up.

Police say no further details will be released as they are still attempting to notify next of kin.
