One dead in double stabbing

A 28-year-old man is dead and a 39-year-old woman is in critical condition after a double stabbing Friday night.

Police say they responded to Barton Street and Mary Street just after 10 p.m. They say a man was seen running from the area, but have not made any arrests.

The victim has been identified as Richard Doucette of Hamilton.
