Ombudsman concerned about future

Days after his damning report on billing practices at Hydro One, Ontario Ombudsman Andre Marin is raising concern about his future.

Last night on his official twitter account, Marin announced his appointment expires Friday, and there’s been no word from the Liberal government about keeping him on.

Marin says he’d been told previously to expect an extension of at least four months.

Marin is finishing his secnd five-year appointment, and is the only ombudsman to have served two terms.
