OLG rejects Hamilton casino plan

Updated Hamilton city council is trying to figure out what to do next after the Ontario Lottery Corporation said it wouldn’t wait for the city to hold a referendum on a casino.

At stake is about $4.5 million dollars in revenue which could be affected if the OLG doesn’t keep the slots at Flamboro Downs. And as Lisa Hepfner reports – while council might be split about what to do next, no one wants to leave money on the table.
