Officers ride to Ottawa

Members of different law enforcement agencies were out in full force in Ancaster today for a memorable marathon bike ride.
Over 100 of OPP, RCMP and officers from Hamilton, Kingston and Niagara Police are on their way to Ottawa, to attend the annual service at the National Peace Officer Memorial. The big ride started this morning in Aylmer around 8 am.
They stopped at the Ancaster Fairgrounds at the noon hour. The officers are set to arrive in Toronto around 5 o’clock.
By the time they reach Ottawa on Sunday, they will have cycled over 600 kilometers.
