Officers cleared in October death
The province’s Special Investigations Unit has cleared two Niagara Regional Police officers in the death of a 28-year old woman in October.
The SIU says police were called to a house on St. Paul Street West to deal with a domestic dispute.
When they arrived, a woman had a knife and stabbed herself in the neck.
The SIU says the officers tried to save her but she died a few days later.
