Odd Thomas

Odd Thomas stars Anton Yelchin as a short-order cook who is cursed with the ability to see and understand the dead. The only people who know of his gift are his girlfriend Stormy Llewellyn (Addison Timlin) and local police chief Wyatt Porter (Willem Dafoe). One day while at work, Odd encounters a mysterious man that is followed by a group of creatures called bodachs, spirits whose presence are a sign of impending death. Knowing that a disaster will soon take place, Odd Thomas has to use his powers to solve the mystery and save his town.

Odd Thomas, based on the series of books by Dean Koontz, was supposed to come out in 2013 but got caught up in legal troubles between two of the companies backing the film. While it went unreleased theatrically in North America, it did screen at some festivals and overseas, receiving pretty mixed reviews.

Odd Thomas is rated 14A.
