Object thrown off highway overpass in Brantford: OPP

Ontario Provincial Police are investigating what they say was a “dangerous act” on a Brantford highway.
OPP were called after a motorist spotted someone throw something from the overpass onto Highway 403, between King George Rd. and Wayne Gretzky Pkwy., around 5 a.m. on Friday.
That object slammed into the windshield of a passing car.
No injuries were reported and the driver was able to safely stop the vehicle.
Police are investigating and are asking the public’s help to identify the person involved.
“This is a very dangerous act that had the potential to cause a collision and injury to the operator of a vehicle or another innocent motorist travelling on the Highway,” said the OPP news release.
