Obama’s big day

He came to office four years ago with optimism and hope, a symbol of long-sought equality for African-Americans; the man who carried the promise of change in how politics was done in the United States.

After yesterday’s swearing-in, this was the first full day of Barack Obama’s second term as president of the United States. Scot Urquhart has been watching the ceremonies in Washington today.
